So I’ve been running the new beta of Safari for a few days now, and I’m quite happy with it. But this does not stand as a review of Safari, instead this is an analysis of my favorite feature of my favorite web browser: Firefox’s Add-ons. Add-ons are one of the key reasons I’ve stuck with Firefox for so long and I haven’t ever really switched to a Webkit based browser. But while these Add-ons are so crutial to so many people’s browsing, they also are killing our Firefox experience by slowing everything down. I’m not sure what your personal favorite Add-ons are, but I’ve taken a screen shot of mine. It’s crazy to think that If I just stopped using a few of these I could probably cut the load time down by a ton.
