Dungeons and Dragons is by far the most beloved game by nerds everywhere. Every nerd you will meet has a story about an amazing D&D session that they took part in, whether it was some epic loot they found, a chance roll of the dice that saved or obliterated them or just some scheme they maticoulsly thought up and eventually executed. How we all become exposed to D&D is an interesting thing, the way how it usually seems to happen is you get invited to a session with a friend, then you go to the book store, or hobby shop and pick up the required reading material plus some extra provisions. It’s almost as if it’s something built into young nerds, that when they reach a certain age they’re going to discover the magical world of wizards, elves and other people that share their passions. It doesn’t really seem like there are any aggressive marketing campaigns for Dungeons and Dragons. But every now and then you’ll come across an ad for it. These two ads, while spanning corporations, and decades both seem to sum up what D&D is all about.
